Are You Fit For Purpose?
Are you fit for purpose?
By that I mean, can you walk to your local shop comfortably at ease, can you bend down and pick something up at ease, or can you walk up a flight of stairs at ease? If you can, then great! If you can’t, then you might want to start looking at your physical health and asking yourself, are you really fit for purpose? Being in good physical health does not mean looking like a super model or a super fit gym babe you see plastered everywhere. Being in good physical health means you are able to perform and do everyday tasks at ease, to maintain a reasonably good quality of life you feel comfortable with.
As we mature as women, physical health is important as it improves our quality of life by uplifting our spirits, as we are more able to enjoy the things we like doing, or to be able to do the things we have to do on a regular basis, like basic household chores. Not only that, we can also look good too, which makes us feel good. All the ‘feel good’ things in our lives, brings about more ‘feel good’ things which makes life more fruitful and pleasant and can open doors and create exciting opportunities for us. All this encourages us to keep going and enjoy ourselves to the best we possibly can.
You’re probably thinking, all this takes a great deal of time and energy that you probably can’t find in your already packed lifestyle. Well let me tell you, yes it does take time and energy, as does everything else in your life. But it is doable as we all have the same 24 hours in a day.
